In 2018 Ryker purchased this engine, along with many letters between Murray and Scotty. LBSC Petrolea was built by Nels Burtt and finished in 1948. ONels Burtt quickly sold the loco to George Murray of Manchester CT who resold it to Pershing Scott of Cedar Rapids IA around 1953. When Ryker purchased it, it took a few hours work to clean everything and make a few repairs to bring it back to running order.
Here's a picture of Rykers engine from 1953/54. When the club was up by Waterloo.
